Tusks are supplied as material for the production of mammoth ivory products in commercial lots. The average lot size is 1 to 1.5 tonnes.
For each lot, an electronic spreadsheet is provided indicating the weight of each tusk or tusk fragment, its quality grade, and its price.
A lot is sold as a single unit; delivery separately by quality grade is not available.
The price of a lot is determined in accordance with the delivery terms.
Delivery Terms (Incoterms):
FOB Moscow. The buyer has the opportunity to inspect the goods at the seller’s warehouse. Ownership of the lot transfers upon full payment. Logistics and customs clearance are arranged by the buyer. Documents confirming the origin of the material are provided by the seller.
DDP China. The buyer purchases the goods delivered to China. The price includes all logistics costs and customs duties.
Delivery terms to other countries are agreed separately, depending on the requirements of local legislation governing the trade in mammoth ivory.
